Objectives
- To foster settlement-oriented talents by expanding university-based entrepreneurship ecosystems.
- To increase startup sustainability through linkage with provincial venture investment.
Key Initiatives
Cultivation of Entrepreneurial Talent through the Development and Operation of Entrepreneurship Education Programs
- Development and operation of entrepreneurship education programs, along with institutional improvements to promote start-ups
* Examples: Operation of entrepreneurship-friendly academic systems, including leave of absence for start-ups, recognition of start-up activities as substitute academic credits, early graduation, and support for start-up scholarships
- Promotion of technology-based start-ups within universities and expansion of an entrepreneurship and job-creation culture
· Promotion of technology commercialization through collaboration with Jeonbuk State–based start-up companies and research and innovation institutions
· Expansion of entrepreneurship culture through start-up and job-creation competitions, start-up incentives, and related programs
Establishment of Entrepreneurship Infrastructure and Creation of a Shared Start-up Environment
- Improvement of existing on-campus start-up incubation facilities and establishment of co-working and joint start-up spaces
- Support for growth-stage incubation spaces after graduation from start-up and incubation centers, linked with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport’s Campus Innovation Park Program
- Provision of support linked to Jeonbuk State start-up and venture funds
- Support for consulting, technology diagnostics, marketing, and other services required for start-ups, in linkage with programs operated by the Jeonbuk State Institute for Economic & Trade Promotion and the Center for Creative Economy & Innovation
